Each autonomous community sets the requirements and the procedure, and the municipality may add its own conditions. That is why it pays to study your case before you move.

- Municipality: whether it limits or conditions tourist use for new homes.
- Owners’ community: if the property is in a building, what the bylaws say and whether its consent is needed.
- Property: its condition and its paperwork.

The administration decides, under the rules of your community and municipality, and some municipalities may limit new licences. What depends on us is that the file arrives complete and well presented, and that we warn you from day one if we see an obstacle.

Can I rent out while the licence is being processed?
It depends on the rules of your community and municipality. The prudent course is to start advertising once the administrative situation is settled. Before advertising, check which requirements apply to you.
Does Realbit process licences in Catalonia?
We focus on the Valencian Community. For other communities, including Catalonia, the rules are different. Tell us your case and we reply clearly.
